CAITLIN CUSTER

Caitlin Custer made the jump from Southern Illinois to St. Louis in 2014. She likes to spend as much time as possible outside, nurturing a garden, a love/hate relationship with running, and a landscape photography practice. When indoors, she draws on her musical training to work with arts organizations as a storyteller and content creator. As an editor with HOSTL, she uses her weirdly specific passion for commas and em-dashes to help subjects communicate their stories clearly.

Caitlin earned her BA in Music from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Certificate in Photography from the University of Washington. She’s fixed punctuation (and done other communications things) at ECS Publishing Group, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
