Alana Marie, MSW

Alana Marie is a storyteller and digital content creator from St. Louis, MO. Her passion for storytelling stems from her belief in everyone having a story, everything having meaning, and every experience serving a purpose. Alana is currently screening her first feature documentary titled The Kinloch Doc both virtually and in person. She is a proud first-time filmmaker, integrating her social work training into highlighting stories of underrepresented people, places, and spaces. In addition to filmmaking, Alana is a story coach helping budding brands, business owners, and organizations integrate authentic storytelling into their marketing. She is also an #IntheCity Artist Fellow at Harvard University, Sprout Fellow, and a Works-in-Progress Lab Member with the Hayti Heritage Film Festival.
