Anna Goldfarb Shabsin, JD, MSW

Anna is a professor at The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and is passionate about issues related to privilege and oppression and their interplay with politics and policy. She is the chair of the Policy Specialization and the former lead teacher of the Social Justice and Human Diversity course. Anna serves as the university’s LGBTQ Safe Zones trainer for all faculty and staff and she has a private practice as an independent diversity consultant. Prior to joining Washington University, Anna practiced law in St. Louis. She is the HOSTL Book proofreader and previously served on the board. Anna has had the great privilege of learning with HOSTL’s founders, Lindy, Caroline and Dessa, and looks forward to watching them continue to soar.
